
Iran's Mahabad Petrochemical plant exports 90kt petrochemicals in four months
Mahabad Petrochemical plant can supply 300,000 tonnes of linear light and high density polyethylene. Mahabad Petrochemical plant of Iran has exported a total of 90,000 tonnes of petrochemical products since 21 March 2017 over the course of the past four months, earning $85mn in revenues.
Mohsen Majidi, managing director, Mahabad Petrochemical plant said that his company would soon start exporting polyethylene products to Belgium before the end of the current Iranian calendar year, which began on 21 March 2017.
The plant can supply 300,000 tonnes of linear light and high density polyethylene as well as 30,000 tonnes of butane-1.
