Russia eager to invest in western Iran petrochemical projects

Sanandaj, Feb 27, IRNA – Managers of Naftogaz Overseas Petroleum Company and Prom Pars Company voiced their interest to invest in Kurdestan petrochemical and mining sectors, Kurdestan governor said.

'Thanks to the capacities of the province in petrochemical, steel and gold fields, we are open to attract foreign investors,' Bahman Morad Nia said in a meeting with managers of the foreign companies.

He emphasized taking advantage of local people in the projects.

Morad Nia also expressed the hope for the meeting to be the start of long-term cooperation.
